Elaine Cali has had a front-row seat in tourism marketing happenings and had a hand in achieving many significant business-related milestones. As an accomplished media relations and marketing professional overseeing all communications for Visit Anaheim for more than 30 years, she has spearheaded national award-winning campaigns, pioneered social media programs and brought a creative spirit to the table.
As a key destination marketing professional she has developed brand awareness campaigns for Anaheim and Orange County. She has been instrumental in creating brand standards, distinctive collateral, award-winning videos on the destination, entertainment, dining and community relations. Additionally, Elaine has overseen major photo shoots and taken many destination images herself– that have been published. She has overseen social media campaigns, publication management and many sweepstakes.
Elaine is a member of the Public Relations Society of America, Society of American Travel Writers, U.S. Travel Association Communications Committee, DMAI, and HSMAI. She has deep roots in Orange County and is a seventh-generation Californian, married and has two sons. In her free time, she can be found looking for interesting angles and capturing photos places and people, creative writing and hiking to new heights.

Jamie Wood is a brand ambassador and communications professional, she has executed successful community relations and marketing campaigns that bring the heart of an organization into action for the community to see, feel and experience. Deirdre Michalski has 30 years of experience in marketing, public relations and writing in the travel, culinary, hospitality and destination bureau industries. She has worked for advertising and public relations agencies, a real estate resort branding company, and for Marriott and Hilton Hotels.
When not pitching to media, or interviewing, she writes for her own web site (www.TastesAndTravel.com), as well as for two destination bureaus (Visit Newport Beach and Visit Anaheim), and Newport Beach Lifestyle Magazine. Previously she has written for Locale Magazine (LA/OC/SD Editions) for two years. Virginia Sandfer is a designer, creative thinker and branding expert. She earned her BA in Marketing and Advertising from Cal State Fullerton and went on to attend the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising’s Graphic Design, Professional Designation program where she refined her skills as a graphic designer.
Virginia is the founder of Third & Brand, an out-of-the box design studio. She has a developed a niche client base that includes a diverse collection of small businesses with a creative passion: from organic restaurants, dance studios, to retailers. If you catch her away from her desk, she’s usually working on her craft by researching styles at local thrift shops, or meeting up with fellow creative types exploring new ideas. “Work hard and be nice to people.”
Tessa Schutz is a creative, an action-taker and a problem solver. She comes with years of experience in video production, digital marketing and web design. Whether she’s playing the role of producer, videographer, editor or marketing expert during a video project, her priority is to tell an engaging story and achieve the client’s goals.
Tessa founded the video production company, Kranbox, and has has worked on many large projects and videos including the Cali Communications website, the Anaheim destination video and marketing campaign and two Anaheim Convention Center expansion campaigns. She also creates wedding videos and specializes in event photography. Tere Stamoulis is the founder of the The Stamoulis Group, a firm which specializing in Destination Marketing. She brings to Cali Communications a real-world sensibility with a proven track record of developing innovative and successful tourism-related programs. Programs and promotions include: Route 66 & Beyond International Tourism program for San Bernardino, Long Beach, Marina Del Rey, Ontario and the LA/Ontario International Airport, Mono County (Mammoth Mountain region) and Santa Monica.
